About ASK to drive

ASK to drive is a driver development and training consultancy based in Wetherby in Yorkshire. Having instant access to the A1, M1 and the M62 corridor, ASK to drive is able to actively serve corporate clients throughout Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cleveland, Durham, Tyne & Wear, Northumbria and Cumbria and the private sector within North and West Yorkshire.

Driver Training

With a professional approach to 21st Century driving needs, ASK to drive develops the Attitudes, Skills and Knowledge of the 21st Century driver. Whatever the driver's background, our training philosophy is one of meeting their individual needs.

Our background

ASK to drive is wholly owned and conducted by Andrew Hamilton, a retired Police Officer who first became a Class One Police Advanced Driver in 1966, serving in Road Traffic, Road Safety and then Police Driver Training. He has a wealth of experience in the field: 35 years of Advanced Driving and over 10 years of Driver Training (advanced, standard and specialist vehicle). He is also an approved driving instructor (car) registered with the Driving Standards Agency, an examiner for The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, The Advanced Drivers Association (Ro.A.D.A.) and is a member of The Institute of Advanced Motorists (I.A.M.) and The Motor Schools Association (M.S.A.).
